Last Map Update: Tue, Jun 23, 2026 at 1:40:26 am CDT

As the rain machine turns off and high pressure builds in we will see quite a bit of sun today allowing highs to climb into the lower to mid 90s. This will combine with a very humid airmass leading to heat index values ranging from the lower 100s to just under 110 degrees this afternoon. The highest heat index values will be around the tidal lakes.
We are finally looking to be on the slightly drier side of the forecast however we are also expecting to see above normal temperatures
